Make it profitable

You set the price

There is no one way to do it when it comes to building a business. Let's

get clear on what sustainability, growth and success look like for your business and the people around it. When we center the wellbeing of all people, sustainable, long-term growth, profit, impact, and wealth are closely intertwined.

#BusinessTherapy

We refer to this work as business therapy, because that's how clients started referring to it. We start by looking at your pain-points so we can do something about it. After working with hundreds of entrepreneurs it became clear how important it is to challenge our and beliefs, around money, trust and self-worth and center people's wholeness as we build, work and create

The Pay-What-You-Wish model allows clients to set the price for services based on the value created. This approach allows us to have the conversations needed to do the real work. We work in cycles with defined goals and timeline - from 1-hour to several weeks. Once the work is delivered, you set the price. No minimum or maximumPrefer a fixed price? Reach out - let's talk.

Book a chat

The first step in any collaboration is getting to know each other as people. A 30-minutes call is a great starting point to determine if we both see an avenue to work together.

  • What does the process look like?
A collaboration cycle is structured as follows: Initial assessment: during a call, we get to know each other and set the grounds for our collaboration | 20 minutes Proposal: we set goals, expectations, timeline, resources Online session(s)*: personalised based on your needs | 1-3 hours per session Report & Recommendations: You receive a well-structured digital summary the next day including my recommendations and possible next steps of our collaborations. You set the price: After receiving the results you reflect on the value, share your feedback and set the price. There is no minimum or maximum. *For first time clients we normally start with a short collaboration cycle of 1 session.
  • Why do you use the Pay-What-You-Wish model?
When I first heard of it my gut reaction was curiosity. Today, more and more, I am interested in different ways of building businesses and relationships. The PWYW model has been used and researched extensively, and what the research shows matches my own experience. First of all, OVERWHELMINGLY people want to pay a fair price to the best of their ability. Secondly, I am very aware of how the PWYW model forced to me to challenge my own unease and beliefs around money, identity, value and self-worth. Which is what I wish for my clients as well, as part of our journey. Finally, even though I realise that skepticism towards this model can increase uncertainty, I am still very interested in the upside of focusing on the value we create together. All of which is crucial to the way I want to work.
  • What happens after our first session?
You will receive a structured summary of our conversation, with my recommendations for the next steps, and available opportunities if we both decide to continue working together.
  • How can I set a fair price?
Please remember there is no right or wrong in this process. This is just another step to building our relationship. Here are a few questions that you could ask yourself when looking to set what is a fair price to you. 1. What would delight both parties Which price would have both parties interested in working together in the future? 2. The ROI approach How long you will be capitalizing on the results? What impact on revenue do you expect over the next years? What impact on costs do you expect over the next years? What's a fair share of 2 and 3 in % for IDKE? 3. Competitor's approach What would a comparable output have cost through a different provider? Provided these other sources would have been ready, willing, and able to do the magic. 4. The anchoring by association approach If you've never worked with a business coach, how much do you pay for other personalized professional services (from an accountant, therapist, designer, event planner..)? 5. The chatGPT approach Try to ask for some 21st century advice to get insights that are more tailored to your country, service or industry.
  • Who is this for?
This process is ideal for individuals, startup founders and micro-businesses to get clarity and address any roadblocks. But finding clarity is for everybody. Over the years I've worked with dozens of businesses at different stages and in different capacities; including tech-startups and solo-preneurs, media companies, NGOs, SMEs with millions in annual revenue, or individuals who are still defining their idea. Most of all, I enjoy the process of managing uncertainty together, finding out what ignites people, so that they can build bigger and better and actually enjoy the process!

About Me

I'm Alessia Balducci, founder of IDKE. I'm an entrepreneur and coach and I got to train and work with hundreds of entrepreneurs across industries and continents.

I started to get curious about the humans behind the business. So I founded IDKE, with the goal to have a space to explore how we can build businesses that focus on people, and create value and profit in a sustainable way.

My skills range from coaching, to business development, strategy, operations, team building, project management and partnership building. Above of all, I enjoy finding ways to navigate the uncertainty of the entrepreneurial journey.

I co-founded Nitalia, a consulting network in Nigeria that specifically serves startups and SMEs and I'm an innovation consultant for BrainStore, an innovation network founded in Switzerland in 1997.

I am also on the Advisory Board of 2022 Africa Tech Festival's Startup of the year, Womenovate.

While I use a variety of tools and approaches with my clients, IDKE is the expression of a need to fundamentally challenge how we work and do business

In the spirit of people-first below are some imperfect snippets to get to know me.
